Google Messenger app to launch in India as part of ‘Google India’ initiative

The messaging app that launched in India in 2016 and was one of the most popular on Google’s platform has been added to the Indian version of the Google Play Store.

Google Messenger now comes in two versions, one for Indian customers, and one for non-Indian users.

The Indian version is available in the Play Store for $1.99.

In the US, the app is also available for $2.99, though the Google Store offers a free version.

Google said the move will give users “greater control” of their messaging experiences and that it will make it easier for people to “connect, share and collaborate across devices.”

The app is available for both Android and iOS devices.

In India, it is available on all major smartphones, including Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Microsoft Lumia and BlackBerry smartphones.

Google also announced a new version of its Android operating system, called Android Nougat, which it is launching this fall for smartphones and tablets.
